The Spa is nice, the golf areas are nice but the rooms, the general areas and some of the grounds are all lacking care and attention. The buffets offer a wide selection of food but the main course part ie meat and fish are just not good enough these days and the service in Bajan Blue is bad. The beach just isn't clean, the sand needs moving or topped up where its eroded ( they do this daily in the Maldives ?), the food is same same same and very expensive. I know a lot of the staff there personally although there seems to be a high turnover of people there recently which I hear is due to temporary contracts - SL has a big reputation, it has everything you would need in a resort but its just looking so tired now and its like no one cares about it too. Ive been going to SL for about 20 years now annually, even twice a year with the kids and without.
